January 24th

On the way to and from work I heard a little factoid on the radio. Apparently, there was a study done and some psychologists determined that January 24th is the most depressing day of the year. They stated that the reason was because it is right in the middle of winter, and that bills from Christmas are due.

How did they went about studying this, I have no idea. But I think January 24th is less depressing than the fact that a group of people spent time trying to identify the most depressing day of the year. Two thoughts: First, my January 24th was pretty good. Second, have they done a study on the least depressing day of the year?

Actually, I ended up having to go home from school after lunch on the 24th because I got some scary news. It was like voodoo.

Better now, thanks.
