Realization #2

It's usually slightly more difficult to get me to leave the house in the winter than it is in warmer weather. I am perfectly fine curling up inside with a book or the most recent selection from Netflix. It's in the spring, summer, and fall that I get out of the house almost daily to enjoy the weather and do a bit more exploring. I discover so much on those days because I just want to be outside.

Today, I woke up to beautiful weather and made plans to go wandering around Manhattan since it's been months since I've able to do so without my bulky winter coat. Instead, I spent the day on my balcony. I had food, a good book, the laptop, and sunny weather. I didn't even have to put shoes on! I no longer have to leave the house to enjoy these days...which makes me more than a little concerned.

So if you don't see me, you can probably guess where I am. And as soon as we get a table and chairs, I might even invite you to join me.

Oh, and p.s., if you really care about me, don't ever let me get an apartment with rooftop-access, I might never leave home again...

Actually, I might move to NYC to room w/ you if you ever get an apartment w/ roof-top access.

Jarrett,
You need to sign your posts so my family doesn't think some anonymous person is offering to move in with me...
